Progressive Corporate was selected through a competitive tender process to deliver the complete workplace furniture and workstation package for the Glenelg Shire Council office refurbishment following significant flood damage to the facility.

The 2,500m² project required the replacement of all workplace furniture, workstations, and associated infrastructure to create a modern, functional, and employee-focused work environment. A key objective of the project was to design a workplace that would encourage staff to return to the office by improving comfort, wellbeing, collaboration, and workplace flexibility.

Working closely with council stakeholders, Progressive undertook extensive consultation to develop a workplace solution that balanced functionality, ergonomics, durability, and long-term value while meeting the operational requirements of a busy local government environment.

The project included the supply and installation of 83 electric height-adjustable workstations featuring integrated soft-wiring systems, together with all workstation accessories, storage solutions, meeting room furniture, breakout furniture, and associated workplace furnishings.

To support employee wellbeing and ergonomic performance, Progressive supplied K1 ergonomic mesh task chairs throughout the workplace, providing advanced ergonomic adjustment, lumbar support, and all-day seating comfort for council staff.

The scope of works also included all associated electrical services required to support the new workstation environment, ensuring seamless integration of technology, power distribution, and workplace functionality across the refurbished office.

The completed workplace delivers a contemporary, flexible, and highly ergonomic office environment that supports productivity, collaboration, and employee engagement while providing a long-term workplace solution for Glenelg Shire Council.
