The operating model was a fundamental consideration in the design and delivery of the workplace.

A 24/7 call centre places considerably different demands on an office environment than a conventional workplace operating during standard business hours. Workstations can be occupied continuously across multiple shifts, increasing the importance of durability, ergonomics, reliable technology infrastructure and efficient space planning.

Progressive Corporate designed the workplace to accommodate 85 employees within approximately 1,000 m², creating an efficient environment capable of supporting continuous operations while maintaining a professional corporate presentation.

The furniture and workstation specification was selected with the intensive daily use of the facility in mind.

The project incorporated an open-plan workplace environment, providing an efficient arrangement of employee work positions while supporting communication and operational interaction between teams.

The workstation layout was carefully planned around employee capacity, circulation and the requirements of the call centre operation.

This approach enabled the available floor area to be used efficiently while maintaining a consistent and professional workplace environment.

The Ambience workstation system formed a key component of the workplace solution.

The workstation configuration provided dedicated employee work areas while supporting the durability and functionality required in a continuously occupied workplace.

Progressive Corporate also incorporated bespoke screen materials into the workstation environment, providing separation between work positions while maintaining the clean, contemporary appearance required by the project.

The workstation system, screens and supporting infrastructure were coordinated as part of the overall workplace design rather than treated as separate components.

Progressive Corporate supplied and integrated the soft wiring system throughout the workstation installation, coordinating the electrical infrastructure directly with the workstation layouts.

The soft wiring solution provided an organised and practical method of distributing power and connectivity to the employee workstations, allowing the electrical requirements to be incorporated into the furniture configuration.

Integrating the soft wiring with the Ambience workstation systems helped create a clean and efficient workplace while providing the flexibility required within a continuously operating call centre.

For a workplace accommodating 85 employees across approximately 1,000 m², the coordination of workstation planning, power distribution and workplace connectivity was an important component of the overall fitout.

By supplying and coordinating the workstation furniture and soft wiring as part of the broader fitout solution, Progressive Corporate ensured that the electrical infrastructure was aligned with the workplace layout and the operational requirements of 24/7.
