Custom Commercial Lockers & Workplace Storage

Progressive Office Furniture was contracted by Hunter Mason to design and manufacture a range of specialised commercial locker and storage systems for the Australian Government Department of Finance in Canberra.

Project Overview:

The project required several different locker configurations, each designed around specific
functional and security requirements within the Department of Finance workplace.

Rather than supplying standard off-the-shelf lockers, Progressive developed purpose-built
storage solutions for different applications throughout the facility.

These included digitally keyed bag lockers for secure personal storage, along with
combination locker systems designed specifically to accommodate mobile phones, laptops,
bags and other personal belongings.

A more specialised element of the project was a large custom built-in locker system
incorporating clear Perspex doors. The transparent doors allow the contents of individual
compartments to be easily identified without opening the locker, while the built-in design
integrates the storage system into the surrounding workplace.

The locker systems were manufactured in Victoria to the specific requirements of the project.

Progressive managed the process from design and manufacture through to transportation to Canberra, delivery and final on-site installation.

The project highlights our ability to develop workplace furniture and storage solutions where a standard product isn’t suitable — combining custom design, local manufacturing and installation capability to meet a client’s specific operational requirements.
