Waterman Workspaces – Narre Warren Flagship Serviced Office

The completed Waterman Workspaces Narre Warren project demonstrates Progressive Corporate’s capability to deliver large-scale workplace furniture solutions for flexible and serviced-office environments.

Across approximately 1,986 m², the project brought together multiple workstation systems, approximately 195 work positions, electric height-adjustable desks, fixed workstations, soft wiring, monitor arms, reception furniture, boardroom furniture and associated workplace solutions.

The result is a flexible, ergonomic and professionally presented business environment capable of accommodating a diverse range of organisations while allowing Waterman Workspaces to maximise the functionality of its flagship Narre Warren facility.

A key element of the project was the integration of two complementary workstation systems to provide different levels of flexibility and functionality throughout the centre.

Electric height-adjustable Vario workstations were incorporated into areas where sit-to-stand flexibility and ergonomic adjustment were priorities. These workstations provide users with the ability to alternate between seated and standing positions while supporting the contemporary flexible-work environment.

Fixed Ambience workstations were used throughout other workplace areas, providing an efficient and consistent workstation solution for dedicated office users and serviced-office tenants.

The combination of Vario electric height-adjustable workstations and fixed Ambience workstations allowed the workplace to accommodate different business requirements while maintaining a consistent professional design language across the centre.

The furniture planning extended beyond conventional open-plan workstations to support Waterman’s serviced-office model, with individual office environments designed for businesses ranging from small teams through to larger occupiers.

This required careful consideration of workstation dimensions, circulation, storage, ergonomics and the efficient use of available floor space. The result was a workplace capable of supporting a broad range of businesses within a single flexible office environment.

Waterman currently describes the Narre Warren centre as offering private offices, coworking, dedicated desks, meeting rooms and virtual-office services, with individual suites ranging from smaller team offices through to larger spaces.

Progressive Corporate also supplied furniture for the centre’s meeting and executive spaces, including boardroom furniture designed to provide a more formal environment for client meetings, management discussions, presentations and strategic sessions.

The Narre Warren facility includes a dedicated boardroom and multiple meeting spaces, supporting the range of businesses using the serviced-office environment. Waterman’s centre information identifies the boardroom, meeting rooms, consult rooms and collaborative spaces as integral components of the facility.

The project included the reception desk and associated reception furniture, creating the primary arrival point for tenants, visitors and clients.

In a serviced-office environment, reception plays an important role in establishing the identity and professionalism of the facility. The furniture selection was therefore developed to combine presentation, durability and practical day-to-day functionality for the Waterman team.
